Special Concerns:

  • Avoid drinking any alcoholic beverages
  • Do not stop taking any prescription medications needed until you have spoken with your physician
  • Regular, moderate exercise will not hurt your baby

What the baby looks like:

  • First body parts appear
  • Embryo is 1/5 inch long by the 4th week

Feels Like:

  • Implanting of egg into uterine wall occurs
  • Brain and heart begin developing

  • Your baby depends on your from the moment of conception
  • Your baby receives energy, vitamins, minerals, calcium and iron from the food you eat
